Scott loved dancing so much, that he trained hard and went on to win the Colorado State Salsa Championship and ended with a 3rd place finish in the Amateur US Salsa Open in 2006. That same year, Scott left his life in finance and marketing to follow his new-found passion for dance. Scott traveled the world for over 2 ½ years, working half of this time as a dance captain in Up With People; teaching and performing Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Swing, Salsa and Lyrical choreography in a Broadway style musical.

Upon returning to Colorado, he fully invested himself in the world of Professional Ballroom at Colorado Dancesport, where he has been teaching, performing, and competing since 2008. Having started his dance career as an adult, after being a competitive soccer player growing up, Scott offers a unique and well rounded perspective on dance. Through a collaborative teaching style with his students, Scott is extremely adept at both coaxing those with ‘two left feet’ into meeting and exceeding their personal goals in movement and dance, while being able to fine tune the skills and performance of those with extensive competitive dance backgrounds.
